- In a medium size bowl, add the cream cheese and separate the blocks slightly with a fork. Add 3/4 of the green onions (set remaining green onions aside for a garnish), salt, pepper and one tablespoon of milk.
- Using a wooden spoon, mix together until smooth and creamy. If desired add additional milk until you reach the creaminess you prefer.
- Spoon all of the filling into a serving bowl and top with the remaining green onions as garnish.
- Dry each celery stalk with a paper towel and cut each on into 3 pieces. Using a knife, spread a generous amount of cream cheese filling down the center indentation of each celery piece. Serve the stuffed celery on a serving plate. Another option would be to place unfilled celery on a serving platter with the serving bowl of cream cheese in the center for self filling.

Why we love this recipe..
This is another recipe passed down from my dear mother. It was a Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition that she started and passed down to us. Even though this recipe is so easy to make ourselves, we never did. It was something we knew Mom would be making for us and we couldn’t wait to get to her house to eat it. This favorite treat was something we would snack on while we waited for the meal. Now that she has passed away, you will find it in all of our homes each holiday. It is now our tradition and we make sure to have it available for all to enjoy in her honor.
